As early as 1984, Manfred Hoffmann jr. came into the enterprise. Now, in 1991, a generation change takes place. Manfred Hoffmann sr., who over many decades shaped the history of the company, slowly retires from the daily affairs, and takes over the chair of the newly formed Company Council. The general management he turns over to his son Manfred Hoffmann jr.
